The Sargent 8204 LE1B 26D is a storeroom or closet mortise lock, finished in Satin Chrome (626/US26D). Configuration: LE1 Escutcheon, B Lever.
About this mortise lock
A mortise lock fits a pocket cut into the door edge, which gives a stronger, longer-wearing lock than a bored cylindrical lock. The function sets how the lever, thumbturn and key behave, and most commercial mortise locks take a separate mortise cylinder or interchangeable core.
