Description
Yale AUCN8805FL 626 Mortise Storeroom Lock
The Yale AUCN8805FL 626 is a mortise storeroom lock, finished in Satin Chrome (626/US26D). Configuration: AUCN Trim.
How the storeroom function works
The outside is always locked and opens only with a key; the inside is always free. Use it on mechanical rooms, storage and doors that should never be left unlocked.
About this mortise lock
A mortise lock fits a pocket cut into the door edge, which gives a stronger, longer-wearing lock than a bored cylindrical lock. The function sets how the lever, thumbturn and key behave, and most commercial mortise locks take a separate mortise cylinder or interchangeable core.

Questions and answers
Does it include a cylinder?
Many mortise locks ship without a cylinder so it can be keyed to your system. Check the specifications on this page, and we can supply a matching cylinder or core.
Will it fit my door?
Mortise locks need a mortise-prepped door with the right backset and faceplate size. Match the series and backset, or send us measurements.
