Schlage ND92BD RHO 626 Entrance Lever Lock
Model ND92BD RHO 626 pairs Schlage's Grade 1 ND Series chassis with the entrance function, the Rhodes (RHO) lever and a Satin Chrome (626/US26D) finish.
How the Entrance function works
A turn button on the inside locks the outside lever; it stays locked until the turn button is reversed or a key is used outside. The inside lever is always free for exit.
This is a Vandlgard model: when locked, the outside lever spins freely instead of resisting force, which protects the lock from people forcing or standing on the lever.
Keying
Prepped for a small-format interchangeable core (SFIC, the Best-style figure-8 core); the core is not included. A good fit if your facility already runs an SFIC master key system.
About the ND Series
The Schlage ND Series is the heavy-duty cylindrical lever lock that many architects specify for schools, hospitals, offices and other busy commercial buildings. It is certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.2 Grade 1, the highest cylindrical lock grade, and is UL listed for use on fire-rated doors. Levers are field reversible, so one lock fits left- or right-hand doors, and the lever shapes meet ADA requirements for operation without tight grasping or twisting.
Because the ND fits a standard 161 cylindrical door prep (2-1/8" bore, 2-3/4" backset), it is a common upgrade when replacing worn or lighter-duty locks without re-machining the door.

Will it fit my existing door?
It fits a standard cylindrical prep: 2-1/8" bore with a 2-3/4" backset on doors 1-5/8" to 2-1/8" thick. Other backsets and thin-door kits are available; ask us if your door is different.
Is it fire rated?
The ND Series is UL listed for fire-rated doors when installed with a compatible latch and strike.
Which hand door does it fit?
Either. ND levers are field reversible, so the same lock works on left- and right-hand doors.
