Schlage ND94LD SPA 626 Classroom Lever Lock
The Schlage ND94LD SPA 626 is a classroom lever lock from the Grade 1 ND Series, finished in Satin Chrome (626/US26D) with the Sparta (SPA) lever.
How the Classroom function works
A key from the outside locks or unlocks the outside lever; the inside lever is always free. Teachers and staff control access from the hallway side.
This is a Vandlgard model: when locked, the outside lever spins freely instead of resisting force, which protects the lock from people forcing or standing on the lever.

About the ND Series
The Schlage ND Series is the heavy-duty cylindrical lever lock that many architects specify for schools, hospitals, offices and other busy commercial buildings. It is certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.2 Grade 1, the highest cylindrical lock grade, and is UL listed for use on fire-rated doors. Levers are field reversible, so one lock fits left- or right-hand doors, and the lever shapes meet ADA requirements for operation without tight grasping or twisting.
Because the ND fits a standard 161 cylindrical door prep (2-1/8" bore, 2-3/4" backset), it is a common upgrade when replacing worn or lighter-duty locks without re-machining the door.

Will it fit my existing door?
It fits a standard cylindrical prep: 2-1/8" bore with a 2-3/4" backset on doors 1-5/8" to 2-1/8" thick. Other backsets and thin-door kits are available; ask us if your door is different.
Is it fire rated?
The ND Series is UL listed for fire-rated doors when installed with a compatible latch and strike.
Which hand door does it fit?
Either. ND levers are field reversible, so the same lock works on left- and right-hand doors.
